"Partisan aggression has no role in America," they wrote. "Elected officials who participated in the video all acted our United States with tremendous loyalty and honor. We unequivocally condemn Donald Trump's appalling and harmful threats of violence against congressional representatives, and appeal to House Republicans to forcefully do the same."
The Democratic leaders also mentioned that they had been in contact with protective services "to guarantee the safety of these members and their loved ones."
"Donald Trump must immediately remove these unhinged digital publications and withdraw his aggressive discourse before he causes harm," the statement stated.
Lawmakers' Strong Reaction
The representatives who participated in the video also issued a response.
"We serve as former service members and national security professionals who value this country and took an vow to protect and uphold the founding document of the United States," they said. "Our pledge lasts a lifetime, and we plan to honor it. No intimidation, intimidation, or call for violence will prevent us from that sacred duty."
"The significant point is that the president considers it punishable by death for us to repeat the legal requirements," they stated. "Armed forces members should understand that we have their backs as they fulfill their pledge to the national charter and responsibility to follow only lawful orders. It is not only the correct thing to do, but also our duty."
They added: "The entire nation must come together and denounce the ex-president's calls for our death and partisan aggression. This is a period for principled stance."

He continued: "This is an direct THREAT. Each congressional member, each house member, all citizens – regardless of party – should denounce this right away and absolutely."
The GOP leader defended Trump's allegation that the Democrats had been involved in "rebellion", characterizing the video as "extremely improper", commenting: "This represents very harmful, you have prominent officials of the legislature advising military personnel to disobey orders, I think that represents unprecedented in US history."
The Republican leader also allegedly informed journalists that in what he read of Trump's messages, Trump was "defining the crime of rebellion" but that "lawyers have to examine the wording and decide all that."
Executive Branch Statement
During a administration briefing on later that day, when questioned by a media member, "Is the president want to put to death congressional representatives?", the executive branch representative responded: "Certainly not."
"It's important to note about what the ex-commander in chief is responding to," the spokesperson declared. "You have active officials of the American legislature who coordinated to orchestrate a video message to individuals of the US military, to current military personnel urging them to disobey the president's lawful orders."
She stated: "The purity of our military depends on the chain of command, and if that structure is violated, it can result in people getting killed, it can cause chaos, and that's what these members of Congress ... are essentially promoting."
